Los Cristianos is located 15 kilometres west of the south airport Reina Sofia (TFS). Connected via the TF1 Motorway Los Cristianos is just a 45 minute drive from the island's capital city Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and just 25 minutes from the Tenerife South Airport.

The town has its own bus terminal with regular services to other parts of the island. Many agree to point out that Cristianos is one of the most popular towns in the Canary Islands. Los Cristianos has its quaint village style harbour but now with updated and renovated buildings, new boulevards, excellent squares and beaches.
Daily ferry services to the neighbouring islands of La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma also leave from the harbour of Los Cristianos operated by the Naviera Armas and Fred Olsen Express ferry companies.
The harbour has all the necessary conditions to take in from cruiser ships to glass-bottom vessels and is an ideal point of departure to embark on a journey across its unmistakable waters for fishing, diving and discover unimaginable sea bottom spots.

The Los Cristianos beach (Playa de Los Cristianos) is a sandy beach sheltered by the Harbour and boasts a number of facilities including watersports, beach volley ball, showers and a children's play area.
Las Vistas Beach (Playa las vistas) Is 400 m long and 100m wide, which makes it one of the safest for bathers and especially for children its located in the next bay beyond the harbour and is protected by break-waters, it also boasts a number of facilities including watersports, showers and a tourist information site.
Shopping in Los Cristianos
One of the joys of holidaying in Tenerife is indulging in duty-free (or low-duty) shopping, and Los Cristianos and surrounds boasts a multitude of shops where it is easy to spend liberally on perfumes, tobacco, electrical goods, cameras and designer clothing. Handcrafts and cultured pearls are also popular buys for souvenir hunters, but these are best sought in reputable stores rather than from seafront hawkers. Local supermarkets stock familiar British brands, particularly those in the large San Eugene Centre. A tourist street market is held in Los Cristianos every Sunday near the Hotel Arona Gran, where most merchandise is cheap and cheerful tat, but there is fun to be had in haggling.

Los Cristianos is very well supplied with fun pubs, some discos and a few nightclubs. There are plenty of taxis and they are available around the clock. Those who prefer a more sedate evening will be happy to sit back and unwind at a waterfront bars in Los Cristianos, watching the world go by and perhaps enjoying some restrained live music.
