Tenerife Bus Service - Titsa Buses Tenerife

Titsa Bus Tenerife is the Islands official Tenerife bus service company, which is the reliable public bus transportation of Tenerife. Tenerife buses offer an inexpensive means of exploring the island. They are modern always very clean and they are mostly always on time. Their buses are very easy to spot because they are a bright green colour, with a 3 digit number located on the front, back and sides of the bus, indicating the route they’re currently on. This route is used for both directions. Next to the route number above the front windscreen, they display their destination, so make sure you check you’re going the right way. It’s always a good idea to ask the driver to be sure you’re on the right bus, most of the drivers speak good English and are used to helping out tourists.

Tenerife Buses - Fares, Discounts and Bono bus cards (pre-paid bono bus tickets) options

Single, one way ticket. The price depends on the Tenerife bus route you’re on.

Round Trip ticket. This ticket has to be used on the same day. With this option there is a 10% discount on the single ticket prices. This option is only available for distances over 21 kilometers.

Bono Bus cards of €15 or €25. They can be used for all Titsa buses in Tenerife, and are also valid for the Santa Cruz tram. They can be used by several users at the same time, you just swipe the card for the given number of people in your group.

If the balance left on the Bono bus card is less than the fare, the difference must be paid to the driver in cash and a bus ticket is issued for the difference paid.

You can purchase Bono Bus cards from bus stations, bus terminals, and various retail outlets, often newsagents.
